Rejection
Having viewed my portfolio, there is no right to reject the finished work on the basis of content, composition, technique or style
Payment
Deposit – a non-refundable deposit of £200.00 is required on booking my services. This confirms that the date scheduled will be made free on my calendar for your wedding.
Fees
Fees – The remaining fees are to be paid on the day in full. It is my policy not to hand over any finished product until I have received payment in full.
Postponement
Postponement of the wedding will not affect the fees charged, provided a deferral date is given before the 8-week period prior to the original date. Deferral is subject to my availability. Cancellation or postponement must be notified in writing and a reply confirmed by myself.
Travel and accommodation
For any locations outside of the central London area Mileage is charged at 50p/per mile. Taxis will be an additional charge for weddings within London and for any transfers to the Airport for overseas weddings. Accommodation is also an additional charge. At your request an estimate of these additional costs can be provided prior to you wedding day.
Negatives and digital files
The negatives and digital files remain the copy write and property of Victoria Dawe. I shall retain the right to use the images for personal promotion e.g. portfolio/website. You may however purchase the negatives outright for the additional fee of £200.00. All images received by Victoria Dawe are for your personal use only and therefore may not be published without written permission.
Album
I put together an album of selected images, which tell the story of the day. As standard the prints are 6x4 inches and 10x8 inches in size with a gloss finish and white boarders. The album contains approximately 200 of the final prints. I reserve the right to edit and withdraw any images I feel to be unflattering e.g. those with eyes closed etc.
Collection of finished work
The finished work may be collected by you 4 weeks after the wedding, on return from you honeymoon or posted to you by royal mail special delivery at your expense.
Insurance
Victoria Dawe holds a valid certificate of public liability insurance.
Accident or serious illness
In the extremely unlikely event of my being unable to fully attend due to circumstances beyond my control, such as a major accident or serious illness prior to the wedding day, I will reimburse all fees including the deposit. I would also aid in finding a suitable replacement photographer.
